In August: Trip to St. Louis

Back in March I had flown home to Utah to attend my nieces baptism...I got stuck in Seattle due to "mechanical failure" for 6 hours! It was terrible. I was bored out of my mind! So Southwest sent me a voucher essentially providing me with a free flight. So when we moved...I was super excited to realize I could use it to go back and visit Amy.
In late August I flew out for a long weekend.
While there we went to the Festival of Nations:
It was really hot that day!
We were lazy while Elliot was at school and watched movies and tried to craft. I was just getting over a cold and poor Amy had come down with one the morning I flew in!

We did go to Forest Park to play on the swings

I don't know how no one told me about this place while we were living there, but it's probably a good thing or I would have been going for milkshakes all the time!
Brigham really enjoyed sharing our milkshakes.

...he was especially upset when they were all gone!

The day I flew home we stopped at the garden for old time sakes and to say "hello" to Dawn.

This trip was so fun and poor Elliot had to tolerate having me there 24/7 he was a trooper!
