When we found out that we might be moving we instantly hit the internet in search of an apartment. To our surprise there was nothing listed! Oh small towns! So when I flew to Utah for my nieces baptism I took an extra day and drove out to where we would potentially be living.
In an effort to get some help we contacted a local real estate agent, who informed us that there is very little to rent, make that pretty much nothing! So we decided that maybe we would buy a house...but where would we live until then...
Well her dad has a barn, he has built in an apartment for situations like ours, or interns coming to the Hospital. We could rent that for a little while.
A Barn! It has been fun telling people that we are going to be renting an apartment in a barn...
I guess this is one of those times when things are not what they seem...here are some pictures of our barn apartment:
This is the family room..that is the front door:
(this place was pretty much furnished. we put our bed in and that's about it)
Here is the Kitchen, that screen door goes out to a little balcony.
