Tasty Tuesdays:

My friend, Amy, and I decided that since I was moving back to Utah, we need to share recipes via our blogs. We thought what better way then every Tuesday to post a new recipe. We originally were going to post on Thursdays but we couldn't come up with a clever name so we moved it to Tuesdays and called it 'Tasty Tuesday!' So if everything goes as planned, I should be posting a new recipe every Tuesday. We will see how good I am at this and if I remember every week.

Brazilian Lemonade

4 limes
6C cold water
1C sugar
6 Tbsp. sweetened condensed milk

Mix cold water and sugar very well...chill until ready to use.
Wash limes thoroughly with soap...cut ends off, and then cut into 8ths.
  1. Place 1/2 of the limes in the blender, add 1/2 the sugar water, pulse 5X, pour mixture through strainer into pitcher. Use a spoon to press excess liquid through the strainer. Throw away lime gunk left in strainer.
  2. Repeat 1. with the other half of limes and water.
  3. Add sweetened condensed milk
  4. Serve immediately over ice.

So far, I'm not very good at Tasty Tuesday. Ooops. I guess I should actually cook more.
