Tasty Tuesday

I have been slacking the past few weeks, I have been trying to get all settled in and make sure everything is updated(addresses, etc)(I know lame excuse) So I was going to post 3 recipes to make up for it but I don't have that many, so to spread out the amount of time that I can participate in Tasty Tuesday's I will only be posting 1.

This recipe is from my grandma, who used to make this for every holiday and sometimes for family vacations.

Candied Popcorn:
2 C Sugar
2/3 C top cream or milk
1/4 tsp salt
1 Tb clear Karo syrup
1 tsp vanilla
about 1/4 tsp food coloring

Mix sugar, milk, salt , and syrup in saucepan. Cook to 230* or just under soft ball stage. Add vanilla and coloring. Pour over 6 qts of popcorn (popped), while stirring. Pour out on wax paper to dry.

This gives the popcorn a hard candy shell and is delicious.

Yes you have been slacking! and yes your excuses are lame. Just kidding, you are a very busy woman. I know that you have more than 3 recipes, so you better be participating much longer than 3 more weeks. I am just glad that you finally decided to post!
